How To Apply for Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship?
Please follow the following application instructions to apply for Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship:
- You are required to submit:
- A completed Deakin International Scholarship Program application form (PDF, 536KB)
- A personal statement (300 words)
- Two references who can comment on your community engagement and/or leadership capacity
- A completed application to study at Deakin including academic transcripts.
- Please email your completed form to the Deakin International Admissions office.
- You may also be asked to attend an interview.
Notes:
You must write your personal statement yourself, and it must reflect your personal opinions. An explanation of why you desire to attend Deakin University should be included.
- a summary of your extracurricular activities and any paid or unpaid employment experience you have had.
- Why you believe you would be an excellent representative of Deakin University.
- anything else you can think of to help your application.
- It takes more than just meeting the requirements to be eligible to apply for a scholarship. Consider your motivations for applying for a scholarship, how it will benefit you, and what you can offer the Deakin community.
- Within six weeks of the application, Deakin International will get in touch with successful applicants.
- Students are recommended to submit their application as early as possible to enhance their chances of being accepted because scholarships are subject to international quotas.
- It is advised that students apply for scholarships at least one month before beginning their Deakin courses.
